Headlight technology has changed over the years and with those changes comes advancements in bulb technology that no longer requires the use of glass headlights. By eliminating glass headlights, bulb replacement is a lot more simpler. The polycarbonite plastic used in these newer headlight also allow manufacturers the freedom to create car designs that were not possible or even imaginable just 10 years ago. Not to mention, polycarbonite lens are a lot tougher and light weight.
Unfortunately, harsh weather and extreme UV exposure can cause many of these newer headlights to become foggy and yellowed. Even to the point were the effective "cast" distance of the light is severely impeded.
Our headlight restoration service can correct these lens and protect them longer and more effectively than manufacturer's standards, but at an affordable price. Keep in mind, the replacement cost on new headlights can range anywhere from $200 to $600 per light!
Our Process

Clean lens to remove dirt and debris, leaving a clean and prepped surface

Wet sand lens with appropriate sanding paper to remove larger imperfections and oxidation from headlight. Repeated several times to varying degrees to create a smoother surface in preparation for compounding step

Compound lens to remove sanding marks from previous step creating an even smoother surface.

Polish lens to 100% factory clarity

Apply specialized clear coat to headlight to protect lens from the elements and UV damage.
